"help" 與 "help out" 的差別

Help

help 後面可以以「不定詞」形式接動詞，傳達「幫助了些什麼」。

比方：He is helping me to improve my business skills.

Help Out

help out 通常會單獨使用。單純傳達「幫助」的意思（至於幫了什麼則沒有提及）。

比方：We decided to help him out.

另外，help out 通常用於「人」幫助「人」。

Baggage, Luggage 區別

baggage (美)——luggage(英)
baggage， luggage——行李。這兩個字都是總稱

一件行李 --> a piece of baggage（或luggage）

當美國人用luggage的時候，一般是指大的皮箱或皮包。

美國人說baggage car（行李車）英國人則說luggage van。
