"e.g."、"ex."、"i.e." 區別

"e.g." 是拉丁文 "exempli gratia" 的縮寫，意思是「例如、舉例來說」，等於 "for instance/ for example"！
>>例句：I love animals, e.g., dogs, pigs and cats.

"ex." 是名詞，可以是 "example (範例)" 或 "exercise (練習)" 的縮寫。
>>例如：Ex. 1. 就是指「範例1」。

"i.e." 其實是拉丁文 "id est" 的縮寫，意旨「換句話說」即 "that is"、"in other words"。
>>例句：It happened in August, i.e., two months ago.
（這件事發生在八月，也就是兩個月前）
